Boyd Patterson is a Business Development Manager for Connected Justice with Cisco, a new position created in 2011. His responsibilities include direct support of the sales force as a resident expert and advisor on telepresence and videoconferencing in law enforcement and judicial fields. Prior to joining Cisco, Patterson served for 29 years as a judge in Dallas County, TX, the last 25 of which as Chief Magistrate for the Criminal District Courts. He initiated the first videoconference system within Dallas Co. in 2007 and by the time of his retirement, had expanded it to become the largest connected justice program in the US.
